Artistic Direction for the rebrand of the shop Helen of Troy, based in Exeter, England.

Helen of Troy is an independent art boutique in Exeter, UK, described as a "dreamscape of curated treasures." Founded on values of femininity, storytelling, and ethical curation, the shop offers a wide range of works by independent artists, including prints, decorations, and stationery.

​

For years, the brand’s identity relied on a logo created on Canva, which no longer reflected the shop’s sophisticated artistry or its vibrant, inclusive community. The client wanted a complete rebranding to match the business’s growth and to better reflect the essence of this creative space.

​

The goal was to move from the generic to the magical: creating a visual identity that feels alive, ethereal, and timeless. The new direction embraces a dreamlike aesthetic while honoring the shop’s unique "wonky star" symbol. This project was about translating a spirit of freedom, magic, and fierce independence into a cohesive visual language that finally does justice to the incredible world Helen of Troy has built.

Helen of Troy est une boutique d'art indépendante à Exeter, au Royaume-Uni. Fondée sur des valeurs féministes et de curation éthique, la boutique propose une large gamme d'œuvres d'artistes indépendants, incluant des impressions, des décorations, de la papeterie et plus encore.

Pendant des années, l'identité de la marque s'est appuyée sur un logo créé sur Canva, qui ne reflétait plus la sophistication de la boutique ni sa communauté  inclusive. La cliente souhaitait un rebranding complet pour accompagner la croissance de l'entreprise et mieux refléter l'essence de cet espace créatif.

L'objectif était de passer du générique au magique : créer une identité visuelle magique et intemporelle.

La nouvelle direction adopte une esthétique onirique tout en gardant le symbole de l'étoile que la boutique utilisait déjà auparavant.
